Exterior Wheelchair Lifts

The FAR-500XL Scooter and Power Chair Carrier from Fold-A-Ramp has a 400 pound weight capacity, allowing this lift to transport some of the larger mobility products on the market. It also has a 60" long ramp that folds in half when not in use and the ramp can be stored flat in the carrier when it is not carrying a scooter or power chair. It is a fully manual lift that requires no motors, batteries or actuators. It has adjustment bolts for leveling and to prevent rattling and a spring-loaded locking pin that locks the ramp in place when it is folded vertically.
The FAR-500XL has multiple tie-down holes along the walls of the carrier for you to safely secure your mobility unit. It also has reflector strips for nighttime visibility and a heavy duty steel frame and platform that is powder coated for durability. 
The Fold-A-Ramp FAR-500XL fits any Class III hitch with a maximum hitch height of 11"-18". The platform size is 60" long and 33" wide and features 6.5" side rails. Please note the hitch pin is not included but is a standard item that can be purchased at most home improvement stores and U-Haul locations, or it may come standard with your hitch.
